Dr Martine Abboud

Dr Martine Abboud is the Founder of Critical Skills Circle and an Enterprise Fellow at the Mathematical, Physical, and Life Sciences Division of the University of Oxford. Martine has been very active on the scientific, educational and outreach fronts. Her work has resulted in over 40 publications in high impact journals and has led to receiving grants and international recognition – including being listed on Forbes 30 Under 30, being named a young leader in the Periodic Table of Elements, and receiving the first ever Eddy Fisher-Lindau Nobel Laureate Fellowship. As a first-generation graduate, an Arab woman in STEM, and a founder, Martine has an entrepreneurial mindset with special interests in the MENA region and in bridging the gaps, especially in the areas of healthcare and education for underrepresented communities.
